Muts, full name Mutua Matheka is a faithful husband to Noni Matheka. He is, according to the group, the “baller baller shot caller” of 5Oh1 . Despite his otherwise harmless look, Muts is outgoing and extremely adventurous.

Despite having studied Architecture in Campus, he is now a renowned photographer thoroughly enjoying his new found passion. This in itself shows how much of a risk taker he is … as not many would be willing to quit something they studied for six years to chase a passion. The group's photos are all done by this great photographer.

Muts and Kevo met in campus, having being placed in the same room as Architecture fresh men. And while Gibby and Kevo were childhood friends who reunited in campus, Muts and Gibby happened to be in the same high school together. As the group sees it, this was like a chess game God was playing with them as the pawns, moving them as He pleased to His desired end.

As Muts recalls and states “Having a born-again roommate in campus was great.” He and Kevo were roommates all their campus lives. And naturally, Muts was also part of the original 5Oh1 .

Muts is an all round multi-talented artist, an artiste in the total sense of the word. He draws, paints, sings and writes music, designs tremendous items etc. His role in 5Oh1 is by default therefore, more of image and branding as he is the most suited and creative in that respect as well.

Many of the performances 5Oh1 have done in the past, had their concepts designed and choreographed by Muts. The group's most iconic white costume that most fans remember 5Oh1 by was designed by Muts

Muts is also a song writer, and is credited with writing another of 5Oh1's hit ‘Christ-baller’s anthem’.

Muts has never expressed a desire to do a solo album, and has never done a solo track. His work is usually for 5Oh1 . Like a typical artist, Muts usually finishes his work at concept stage (mostly in music) and hands it over to the others to transform it into something that works.

Muts has currently written many musical concepts awaiting transformation into reality, some of which the group will be recording.
